July 24th: Academic Visits

Satellite Research Centre of NTU (SaRC of NTU)
The Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is the birthplace of Singapore’s satellite design. It was here that the nation’s first locally designed and built satellite, X-SAT, was developed. As of 2024, SaRC has designed, manufactured, tested, and operated 13 satellites. Through numerous local and international research projects, SaRC collaborates with experts across disciplines to drive breakthroughs in space science and technology. In parallel, its educational programs nurture the next generation of aerospace talent. During this event, we will visit the NTU campus and tour the Second Satellite Research Centre (Satellite Mission Control Station), offering insights to inspire research ideas and potential collaborations among participating experts.
